Melinda Yoder is a Registered Dietitian that specializes in weight management and sports nutrition. Her services include developing tailored plans for patients at her office and at several primary care physician offices in Western New York. She works regularly with individual athletes, as well as presenting to athletic departments, teams and clubs. Melinda helps her clients learn to enjoy a variety of foods, lose and manage weight, optimize athletic performance, and increase energy.
Melinda earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the State University of New York, College at Buffalo. She is active in the Western New York Dietetic Association, currently holding a position as Reimbursement Chair. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), New York State Dietetic Association, Western New York Association of Diabetes Educators and the Sports, Cardiovascular, & Wellness Nutrition and Diabetes Care & Education Practice Groups of AND.
As a lifelong athlete and sports enthusiast, Melinda still remains active. She has played in an adult field hockey league and has completed 7 half marathons and 6 marathons.
